Tell us about yourself?

I am a super competitive, highly driven, professional racing driver that wants to be the best and to achieve my dream of becoming World Champion.

Tell us about the sport you compete in?

I compete in motorsport, racing in the FIA Formula E Championship, which is a fully electric single-seater series, competing in major cities around the world.

How did you become involved in it?

I started racing in karts when I was 8 years old as my father was a motorsport fan and, although he never raced, through one of his work colleagues we started karting together as a hobby at my local track in Cumbria. I won my first five novice races and went on to become Club Champion. We then progressed to racing karts all over Great Britain and I won the British Junior Kart Championships twice. At the age of 16, I moved from karts to cars, and despite struggling for budget, I progressed through the junior single-seater categories to where I am today racing in Formula E.

What does an average training week consist of?

My average training week consists of a mixture of aerobic training and strength endurance training. I usually go for a run or out on the bike in the morning and then will go to the gym in the afternoon. I also like playing badminton and tennis with friends. I also do some sport specific training for the neck to resist the g-forces in the car.

How does the Active Edge product range help you during training and competition?

The CherryActive products that contain the antioxidants help my recovery between training sessions whilst at home and when I am travelling around the world over a race weekend in Formula E.

Highlight of career?

The highlight of my racing career was taking a class victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours in LMP2. In my junior career, winning on my debut around the streets of Monaco in the World Series by Renault was a special moment, as well as winning the McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year Award.

Who are your heros?

The driver I looked up to when I was young was Damon Hill, as he become World Champion when I was starting out in motorsport.

What are your future goals?

My future goal is to become World Champion in Formula E.

How do you relax away from your sport?

I find other sports a way of relaxing away from motorsport, I enjoy going out for a run or cycling on the road and in the mountains. I also like competing in running races, cycling sportives and triathlon. I enjoy spending time with friends, going on exploring walks in the countryside, eating out at good restaurants and watching films.
