CherryActive® Tart Cherry Paleo Granola

A healthy version of this popular breakfast option. Adding an array of seeds provides plenty of healthy fast and you can increase the protein content further by adding a scoop of protein powder to the wet ingredients. Brazil nuts are a rich source of selenium; important for supporting the immune system and healthy testosterone for men. Maca powder is a well known adrenal adaptogen perfect to support the body after a hard training session.

115g Brazil nuts
115g Almonds
115g Unsweetened coconut flakes
60g Raw cacao nibs
60g Sunflower seeds
60g Shelled hemp seeds
1 tbsp Chia seeds
2 Ripe pears, chopped
1 tbsp Coconut oil
50g CherryActive® Tart Cherry concentrate
1 Scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
1 tsp Maca powder
Pinch of sea salt
60g CherryActive® dried tart cherries. 


  1. Preheat the oven to 160C, gas mark 3.
  2. In a food processor or blender, place the pears, BlueberryActive® concentrate, protein powder, maca, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt. Process to form a thick paste.
  3. Put the nuts, cacao nibs and seeds into the food processor. Coarsely chop the nuts and seeds. Add them to a bowl and pour over the pear paste. Stir to combine well.
  4. Spread the mixture onto a lined baking tray and bake in teh oven for 20 minutes. Turn down the oven to 120C, gas mark 1/2 and continue to cook for a further 30 minutes or until the mixture is dry and golden. Allow to cool then stir in the berries. Store in an airtight container.
